Come and settle in for an evening of gorgeous harmonies, soulful songs, gentle mischief and a few good stories.Lizzy & The Woods bring together folk, country, blues and soul — weaving original songs with the old-fashioned joy of making music together. Expect beautiful voices, banjo, guitar, plenty of heart, a little larrikin humour and songs that might just have you singing along.
At the heart of it are Lizzy D. Smith — perhaps better known to Auburn audiences as the woman behind Miss Friby — and award-winning musician Woody Clark.
And this one is a family affair. Woody’s father, beloved folk musician Dave Clark (and blues belting chanteuse, Chrissy), will join them for a a truly authentic evening of music, stories and generations of songs.
