Join us on campus for an in-person beach safety seminar, delivered by industry experts Surfing WA.As we approach summer there is no better time to learn how to stay safe at the beach!
The seminars will include:
- A summary of key beach safety basics such as ocean conditions, safety principles, hazards and emergency procedures.
- Local examples and case studies (e.g. specific beach incidents and conditions relevant to Perth).
- Interactive Q&A with Surfing WA to address any concerns or queries.
- Practical tips for first beach visits (how to approach lifeguards, read surf conditions on the day, and swim between the flags).
