Junior Chemistry Course Two.Note: It is NOT necessary to have completed the Junior Chemistry ONE course in order to take part in this course.
How similar will this course be to the one on YouTube? We will be using the same workbooklet, but the online lessons usually take on a life of their own - so who knows!
One ticket includes the whole course - that is SIX one hour online live Zoom Science Lessons with Jacob
Both Live and On-Demand tickets available
1. Tuesday 13th October 9am to 10am AEST (Sydney Time)
2. Tuesday 20th October. 9am to 10am AEST (Sydney Time)
3. Tuesday 27th October. 9am to 10am AEST (Sydney Time)
4. Tuesday 3rd November. 9am to 10am AEST (Sydney Time)
5. Tuesday 10th November 9am to 11am AEST (Sydney Time)
One Week break
6. Tuesday 24th November. 9am to 10am AEST (Sydney Time)
These lessons will be recorded and the link sent to the ticket purchaser. If you miss a lesson and need to catchup you can use the recorded lesson.
To participate:
1. Buy a Ticket to this event ($60 for the 6 lessons) - One ticket per login.
eg. A family of three kids gathered around a single device = 1 ticket
eg A family of three kids with three separate devices = 3 tickets
eg A group of 8 homeschool kids meeting at someones house with a device at the end of the table or a big screen TV = 1 ticket.
2. Participants require both the Junior Chemistry Set One ($50), Junior Chemistry Set Two ($50) and Chemicals and Consumables for the Junior Chemistry Courses ($10) from Tiny Science Lab
3. Printout the Junior Chemistry Course Two which can be downloaded from the Tiny Science Lab website for free.
4. Participants will require the equipment, worksheets, pen and pencil and clipboard and a few extras from around the house for each lesson (You will already have these extras in the house, no need to buy)
What each class will look like:
Jacob will be leading the class, giving directions, generating discussion etc.
We will work through the course at a pace that suits the participants
It's unlikely that we will complete the entire course in 6 weeks. Any unfinished part of the course participants can cover by using the lessons on YouTube.
