Join fellow research students for an afternoon of conversation, connection, and scholarly exchange at St Francis College.The Student Research Seminar provides an opportunity for research students to share their work in a supportive and encouraging environment. Whether you are just beginning your research journey, working through a particular challenge, or celebrating a recent breakthrough, this seminar offers a chance to speak about your research and engage with others who understand the joys and demands of academic study.
Presentations will be informal, with each participant invited to speak for approximately 5 to 10 minutes on an aspect of their research. This might include your overall research question, a current area of focus, methodological challenges, key discoveries, or reflections on your progress. There is no expectation of presenting a completed or polished project.
Research can often be a solitary endeavour. This gathering aims to strengthen our community of researchers by providing an opportunity to listen to, learn from, and encourage one another in our work.
Research students who would like to attend and present are encouraged to register their interest. We look forward to hearing about the exciting research being undertaken across our community.
