A Day in Carlton: Lili Wilkinson in conversation
About
Join us at Readings' A Day in Carlton, 24 hours celebrating books, culture and communityWe are delighted to have the queen of Australian books for young adults, Lili Wilkinson join us to discuss 'Lavender & Hemlock' and all things romantasy, with Readings’ own Lucie Dess.
Housemaid Tansy's only duties are to tend to old Lady Aster and care for their quaint, peaceful, isolated seaside cottage – the Oubliette. Tansy can't remember the last time she left – or when she arrived. Until Merit, a Carrion Knight and servant to the Unmaker, stumbles through a mysterious door and finds herself in the Oubliette. The two form an instant connection and now Tansy must question not only what she wants, but who she is. Because the origins of this charming world are darker than she could imagine – and the key to uncovering them might lie with Tansy herself.
This event is suitable for ages 14+.
