Year 12 Formal

The Year 12 Balwyn High School Formal will be held on Friday 6 June 2025 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This Formal is a school supported event and there will be members of staff in attendance. The Formal is a smoke free and alcohol free event. The cost includes a two course meal, soft drinks, a DJ, and security.

 Payments can be made through TryBooking from Monday 5 May 6pm to Monday 19 May 11pm. Payments may only be processed through TryBooking and therefore will not be accepted at the General Office. Payments will not be accepted after this date. Table bookings will also be made through TryBooking at the time of payment. Students who wish to sit together should prearrange to choose the same table number at the time of booking.

 As previously communicated, invitation to participate in the Formal will be confirmed by the Principal and Senior School teams on the basis of the student’s record of abiding by the expectations and formal policies of the school, including:

• consistently wearing the BHS uniform correctly as outlined in the BHS Uniform Policy; 
• meeting the attendance requirement; 
• consistently arriving at school and to classes on time; 
• demonstrating a positive commitment to their studies; and 
• behaving in a respectful, inclusive manner towards their peers, teachers and the community. 

Confirmation of a student’s invitation to participate in the Formal will be communicated shortly before the event and a refund will be provided, should a student not receive an invitation.
