Welcome to the 11th Annual NARC Dive Club Land & Underwater Cleanup.
The annual NARC Dive Club Land & Underwater Cleanup is one of the largest events of its kind in the world, and over the past ten years, hundreds of scuba divers, ocean users, and other volunteers have taken to the waters and shoreline around Perth to remove over 82 tonnes of rubbish and make the ocean a cleaner place.
The 2021 cleanup will be another fantastic event, revisiting Hillarys Boat Harbour, the place where it all started and that we last cleaned in 2019. Be sure to get involved in this amazing event and join an enthusiastic group of like-minded people helping to give something back to the ocean. EVENT informationUnderwater Crew
For certified scuba divers wanting to get underwater and clean the ocean. Dive teams will rotate between diving, and supporting the team currently underwater.
Land Crew
Open to all volunteers, clean the shoreline while also supporting the dive teams.
Registration informationYou can register for either the land crew or underwater crew, for either the Saturday only, Sunday only, or the full weekend. There is a limit of one registration per booking session, so each volunteer must register individually - that's just to make sure we can contact all volunteers individually. If the system won't let you select a ticket, check that there isn't one already in the shopping cart. Don't worry if you want to modify your registration later, just get in touch and we can make any necessary changes.

Information for scuba divers
Safety Briefings
All scuba divers MUST attend a safety briefing in order to participate. As with last year, we will be holding two safety briefings. ALL divers must attend one of these two safety briefings: Sunday 18 April or Thursday 22 April. Any registered divers who cannot attend the safety briefing will unfortunately not be able to participate underwater during the event. We will provide divers with safety briefing details via e-mail closer to the time.
Hire Gear
Any divers requiring hire gear will be responsible for organising it themselves prior to the event. We are working hard with local dive shops to provide discounts and other deals for all cleanup volunteers. We will provide details on any arrangements as and when they are confirmed. There will typically be two dives per diver on the Saturday and one on the Sunday, so bear this in mind if hiring tanks.
