Celebrating 100 Years of Rotary in Australia

Everyone is invited to join us at our District 9640 Conference to celebrate 100 years of Rotary in Australia. The one-day action-packed District Conference on Saturday 15th May 2021 at the state-of-the-art showroom of Twin Towns Conference Center in Tweed Heads NSW is open to all Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, Youth Exchange & RYLA Alumni and all those who want to join our celebration.
Rotary International President Holgar Knaack from Germany has appointed Dr. Jessie Harman, the first Australian female Rotarian to be elected to the Rotary International Board as his personal representative to our conference. And we have a super lineup of speakers and panelists too! These include -
- Dr Michael Pyne, Director Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, "Where will our koalas go?"
- Amanda Wendt, District Governor Nominee, District 9800, "How can we engage these under 40's we attract to Rotary?"
- Jason Browne, Public Image Co-ordinator Zone 28 & 29, "Can we make M&Ms in Rotary?"
- Prof Michael Good, Senior Principal Research Fellow, Griffith University Institite of Glycomics, "Are we this close to finding a vaccine against Malaria?"
