• IN THIS 3 Hour Workshop you will learn

Who Should Attend?

Introductory class suitable for beginners and intermediate weavers. 13 years and up.

What You'll Get

Each participant will go home with a random woven art piece to hang or display and a new way of looking at the plants around them.

Participants will also be provided with a yummy snack and refreshments including water, organic teas and French press coffee.

What to bring 

A pair of sharp secateurs, and apron and an old beach/bath towel. A plastic bag to take your damp towel home in. A spray atomiser water bottle. All materials and notes provided, however attendees are encouraged to bring ephemera or treasures (eg. feathers, shells, yarns, leathers or seedpods) of their own - collecting and recycling is always encouraged.
To avoid waste, please bring your own water bottle and keep cup.

The Wired Lab is a registered provider of the NSW Government 'Creative Kids' Program, which entitles parents and carers of young people to a $100 voucher towards a creative activity. Please contact us directly before enrolling to ensure the workshop is suitable for your child. Vouchers can be claimed here then please provide us with your child's full name, date of birth and voucher number. We will issue you a discount code for use at checkout.

BUSHFIRE SUBSIDY

Thanks to donations, our 'Pay it forward' scheme and wonderful partnership with Castleden Co we offer subsidised and free workshops to those impacted by the Dunns road bushfires. A brief EOI is required to self nominate or nominate a friend. Please contact us for more information.

ABOUT Harriet

Originally from Young, Harriet Goodall is a full-time fibre sculptor, weaver and one of Australia's best loved teachers of basketry techniques. 

She has led regular workshops in Australia and internationally for more than 12 years. Her days are divided between weaving, sculpture, working with clients on lighting installations and commissions and tending to her kids and animals on a small farm near Robertson, NSW.
