August is a special time for Japanese people as they celebrate Obon, a Buddhist cultural tradition where ancestors are commemorated and lanterns are displayed as guides for their spirits to find their way home to their families.
Yumemi will be running some free lantern making workshops at the Long Gallery during Winter Light.
