About

Join Port Phillip BUG on a community bike ride to visit 10 Aboriginal sites of significance. Approx 2 hour - 12km leisurely ride on streets and bike paths in Balaclava, Elwood, South Melbourne, Albert Park and Port Melbourne. The ride will be led by Meyer Eidelson, local historian. We will visit 10 interpretive signs installed in 2016 during Reconciliation Week recognising the continuing culture of the Boon Wurrung people. Meyer is the author of ‘The River People of Port Phillip’.
