Sexual Trauma 1st Aid - Launceston
This 4-hour essential workshop helps to raise understanding of sexual assault in our community, and offers vital skills for handling disclosures of sexual harm. The workshop will focus on empowering anyone in a helping role, with practical skills and evidence-based knowledge to respond to a disclosure in a trauma-informed ‘best-practice’ manner. Topics include: cultural safety and driving factors, trauma and the brain, crisis response, basic interventions and self-care strategies.
