Webinar: Asthma in Spring - Allergies and Thunderstorms
The National Asthma Council and SEMPHN present this Webinar which will focus on spring time asthma and allergic rhinitis and how to manage both conditions, using the latest evidence-based guidelines. Thunderstorm asthma is a spring time phenomenon that all health professionals in primary care need to be prepared for.
Topics Covered
Our guest speaker Narelle Williamson, Asthma and Respiratory Educator from the National Asthma Council will cover the following topics: assessment, diagnosis and management of allergic rhinitis including allergy treatment plans. Thunderstorm asthma is explained, including how to manage those at risk. There is valuable information on how to prepare your practice or pharmacy for a thunderstorm event.
