Diana Weston (harpsichord) with Anna Fraser (soprano), Shaun Ng (viola da gamba), Joanne Arnott (recorder) and Tara Hashambhoy (violin) present music by two remarkable women – Antonia Padoani Bembo (c. 1640 - c. 1720) and Élisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre (1665 - 1729). They rose to prominence as composers during the reign of Louis XIV. Also pieces by Rameau and Marais.
