About

South Coast Threatened Species Forum 2021

Join us in Albany on December 4th and 5th for an exciting weekend of events to celebrate 20 years since the public meeting in Albany that resulted in the formation of Gilbert's Potoroo Action Group and the 60th anniversary of the rediscovery of the Noisy Scrub-bird in 1961 which led to the protection of Two Peoples Bay as a Nature Reserve and thus enabled Gilbert's Potoroo to survive to be rediscovered 33 years later in 1994. The weekend will include a South Coast Threatened Species Forum with presentations on the theme of Volunteering in Threatened Species Conservation, GPAG Anniversary Celebration Dinner (December 4th) and a Silver Star II afternoon tea cruise (December 5th) with Ocean Adventures.
