WHAT: Three of Melbourne’s finest choirs combine to present CAROLS IN THE CATHEDRAL, Melbourne's premier concerts of traditional Christmas music and readings.The Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Choir (RMPC) will be joined by members of Melbourne University Choral Society (MUCS), Box Hill Chorale (BHC), accompanied by the spectacular RMP Brass Consort and percussion, piano, organ, harp and pipers and drummers of The City of Melbourne Highland Pipe Band. Also featuring special guest soloist, the acclaimed Australian soprano Greta Bradman who returns to perform these lavish concerts, all under the baton of conductor Andrew Wailes. A magnificent celebration of Christmas - glorious hymns and carols, soaring descants, spine-tingling a capella pieces, uplifting verse and majestic brass fanfares. A magnificent presentation in the inspiring surrounds of St Paul's Cathedral.
