A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM
By William Shakespeare
Directed by Megan Dansie
“The course of true love never did run smooth”
– William Shakespeare, King of understatement…
Oberon and Titania, the King and Queen of the fairies are fighting (again) and it is all about to come to a head.
Into their forest have wandered a group of amateur actors, with more enthusiasm than talent, who are about to get caught up in the royal row, with hilari-ass results.
Meanwhile, the complicated love quadrangle of four young friends is only made worse when mistaken identity and supernatural intervention leads to amorous mayhem.
Come join us in the Little Theatre where reality and fantasy meet, for a night of steampunk somnambulism, as cheeky sprite Puck tries to get things back on track, before this dream becomes a nightmare.
