Writing your Family History

About
Have you ever considered writing your own family history book?
Presented as part of the Genelaogy Gems Lunchtime Sessions, in conjunction with the State Library of South Australia, Judy Smith, award winning family history writer, will explore how to get started with the basics, share ways to be more creative, make your book interesting, and also how to expand information when it appears there is little known about the subject matter. If you have ever considered writing your own family history or have just begun, this presentation will offer great insights, along with the opportunity to ask Judy how you too can become a successful family history writer.
Judy Smith is an accomplished family history writer and retired small business owner, local government Councillor and Alderman. She has won the Genealogy SA, TT Reed Family History Book Award twice; firstly in 1997 for “My Grandmother was a Mann’” and again in 2019 for “Furious Riding”.
