About
Kaurna Walk: Re-Imagining Reconciliation
Sunday 29 May 2022
During National Reconciliation Week join Kaurna Elder Rod O'Brien for a two hour guided tour of the River Torrens, Elder Park and surrounds to learn about Kaurna history, culture and achievements and to explore how each of us can join the national reconciliation effort to bring about change.
The Kaurna Reconciliation Walking Trail is a collaboration between The Graham F Smith Peace Foundation and the Kaurna community, inviting reflection on Kaurna life before European settlement and exploring the impact of this settlement on Aboriginal people. Frank’s guided tour provides generous insights of traditional and personal cultural significance.
Make reconciliation part of our story and our future.
All participants will be provided with a copy of the Kaurna Walking Trail pocket guide.
Bookings are essential.
Tours held 10:00am & 2:00pm on Sunday 29 May.
Meet at the Kaurna Reconciliation Sculptures at the main entrance to Adelaide Festival Centre
10 minutes before departure time.
Walking conditions are mostly flat. Bring water and a hat.
