If you enjoy working in a hands-on environment or putting your practical skills to the test, then this course is for you! This exciting 7-week course held at Wild Food Farm with an expert horticulturist, will provide you valuable skills in establishing and maintaining garden beds, plant growth, soils, machinery operation and disease control, and experiencing everything the horticulture industry has to offer in a fun and practical environment.
You’ll also develop the ability to identify, select and cultivate appropriate companion varieties of Australian native plants. Upon completion, you will come away with the confidence and experience to pursue an apprenticeship, gain employment as a garden hand or progress to further study.
