Armadale Arts Festival Community Choir Project
About
In 2022 the Armadale Arts Festival presents a Community Choir experience, facilitated by local Bree Hartley (the Armadale Arts Festival Artist of the Year 2022).
The choir participants have spent three weeks rehearsing 5 songs working towards the performance on Sunday 15th May at the Armadale District Hall.
The focus of the choir this year is community and ‘coming together’. We have drawn choir members from all parts of our local community, so we have a choir that truly represents who we are in this wonderful place we live in. The choir is a representation of the power of music to bring a group together - a group that is a microcosm our of our wider Armadale community with everyone coming together to make meaningful connections while making beautiful music!
The performance will start at 6.30pm on Sunday 15th May at the Armadale District Hall and run for approximately one hour. As well as the Armadale Arts Festival Community Choir there will be performances from community members between the songs.
Tickets are free and there will be a small kiosk for light refreshments before and after the event. Doors open to the public at 6pm.
