COVID Safe
Attendance at this event is subject to agreeing to abide by the event organisers COVID Safe guidelines.
Due to the Queensland State Government requirements, all attendees are required to be fully vaccinated.
Please note that AUSTA Q is unable to provide banquet style food/drink at this year's event due to current covid-safe requirements. To get around this Individually Catered lunch packs are being offered for a fee of $18 per person per day. The boxes will include: Club Sandwich, Cheese and Crackers, Brownie and Fruit. Dietary options can include: Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, Dairy Free. Delegates are also welcome to bring their own packed lunch and snacks. AUSTA Q will encourage everyone to gather in an outdoor area during break times in order to facilitate our usual, and important, collegial chit chat.
Please also be aware the venue has requested that food / drink are not consumed within the facilities.

This session will explore ideas for shaping students’ musical and technical platforms towards their longer term engagement with advancing repertoire. There will be discussion around establishing supple, accurate and efficient left hands, healthy bow arms, essential strokes, shifting, and activities for vibrato. All to help serve expression and content of the music.
