Terms & Conditions
Drop Off Event:
- This is a kid drop off event. To avoid class disruption and impact to team dynamics during class session, YE Brisbane South STEM Coach will not be able to accommodate to parents request to stay in class. Parents are invited to join the class 15mins prior to class end for photo sharing/ learning journey (When coaches are ready for parents to enter the class session).
Pick Up & Drop Off:
- YE Brisbane South STEM Coaches will not be able to accommodate to pick up or drop off request to/ from Young Engineers class. Parents are encouraged to make their own necessary arrangements for their child to make their way to and from Young Engineers class location.
OSHC Arrangements:
- For children enrolled into OSHC before or after Young Engineers After School program. Parents are responsible to instruct formal drop off/ pick up arrangements directly with OSHC. No refunds will be allowed as a result of missed classes.
Group Program:
- Young Engineers program aims to promote team work and collaboration. Students will share a kit to co-create models. We do not offer individualised per student programs in a group setting.
Cancelled Class Policy:
- Minimum 12 students to start. If numbers are insufficient, an alternative location will be offered or refund will be provided in return.
- Make up class for Covid related class cancellations (ie, government imposed lockdown restrictions)
Missed Class Policy
- No refunds or discounts can be provided. At best effort basis, YE Brisbane South can offer alternative locations (if there are any vacant spots) for any missed classes.
Withdrawal Policy:
- Any cancellation request must be in writing to brisbanesouth@young-engineers.com.au.
- A cancellation fee of $50 will be incurred for change of mind.
Photography Consent:
- Every parent is required to indicate Yes/No on permission of photography for your child during registration. YE Brisbane South will not be taking any photos & videos where photography consent is not given. We will not be able to entertain specific request from parents who has provided No to photography consent and still wants photos taken of their children.
Medical Treatment Requests:
- YE Brisbane South STEM Coaches are not medically train and are unable to accommodate to help/support with any medical request for any child with existing medical condition. Parents are encouraged to discuss with us if your children requires special medical arrangement during Young Engineers classes.
Accidents:
- In case of accidental injury or incident, YE Brisbane South is authorised to take any necessary medical treatment and parents agree to cover any expenses that may be incurred. Parents must be contactable at all times for emergency purposes.
Safe Environment:
- YE Brisbane South values safe teaching and learning environment for both our coaches and students. Any student displaying violent behaviour or causing disruption will be escorted out of the classroom. Parents will be contacted to pick up your child immediately.
Special Needs:
Parents with special needs children are strongly encouraged to discuss with YE before enrolment to assess program suitability. YE endeavour to provide a safe learning environment. However, YE staff are not qualified to manage behavioural issues and nor are YE able to provide teachers aid to support children requiring special attention. Parents must be contactable at all times.
