Enjoy a night of food and entertainment under the stars!
This ever-popular event will feature local musicians, followed by the Radio Play “Queen Bea,” written by Roger Gimblett and performed by the Miles Regional Arts Council. Sit amongst the unique setting of our historical streetscape while the sun sets and enjoy a delicious country style two course meal.

Gates Open for Show Only Ticket Holders: 7:00pm

Play Synopsis:
Australia has become a Republic and after major disagreement about how a Head of State should be installed, a new system is developed which leads to the appointment of a Grandmother from Emerald to the Position. The play follows the ups and downs of her interactions with the bureaucracy of Canberra, the Press and the Public, ending in a decision that leaves them all changed but wiser.
