Fostering curiosity, wonder, and delight in our natural world.
Bats of lutruwita/Tasmania (SOLD OUT)
Join local ecologist, chiropterologist, and educator, Lisa Cawthen for an after-dark exploration of Tasmania’s flying micro-mammals, their unique adaptations, and the habitats they call home.
You'll have the opportunity to wander amongst the giant trees of one of Hobart's Bushland jewels on the search for bats as they take to the sky on a nightly hunt.
This is a great chance to both learn about and witness a very special mammal before winter sets in and they disappear from our night skies until their annual springtime re-emergence.
LIMITED TO GROUP SIZE OF 12, this tour involves a short walk in a Bushland Reserve.
(Please note this tour is not for children, young people 16+ can attend with an adult)
