Mowanjum Festival 2022
Each July, Mowanjum Arts hosts the Mowanjum Festival, sharing the vibrant, living culture of the Ngarinyin, Worrorra and Wunambal peoples.
The festival attracts thousands of visitors, travelling to witness and take part in Western Australia’s largest open-access cultural celebration. Performers participate in Junba or traditional dances, telling the stories of the Mowanjum people, along with dances from other language groups and regions.
Its a truly spectacular event.
