'Prayer for Ukraine'
An exquisite collaboration: in this wonderful concert Irina Buevska-Cowell is joining forces with an outstanding violinist Akiko Miyazawa. Together they present a concert featuring famous Ukrainian and Polish Composers and some of their recognised pieces. Over the years many Ukrainian composers were recognised as Soviet or Russian, however this program will take you on a historical journey, sharing the works of Kos-Anatolsky, Skoryk, Lyudkevych and Wieniawski
Titled 'A Prayer for Ukraine', this special concert will also include a
Ukrainian Food stall at interval, and special guests:
Bishop Mykola Bychok from Melbourne - Bishop for Ukrainian Catholics in Australia, New Zealand and Oceania
Father Ihor Holovko - Parish Priest for Ukrainian Catholics for Western Australia.
Ukrainian choir and young rising star performer - Margo Chyzhma

DOORS Open for all concerts 30 minutes before the advertised start time. Please note that seats are unallocated (general admission), so although purchasing on-line guarantees a seat, we still recommend arriving early so you can choose where to sit.
