CENTENARY OF LISOVI CHORTY: FUNDRAISING EVENING IN SUPPORT OF UKRAINE

About
Lisovi Chorty are pleased to invite you to an evening supporting our plastuny in Ukraine on the occasion of our centenary.
The aim of the evening is to raise funds for humanitarian and nonlethal aid delivered by Plast Ukrainian Scouts in Ukraine. Since the war broke out, thousands of Plast Ukrainian Scouts have mobilised to support refugees, organise and distribute humanitarian and nonlethal aid to the Territorial Defence and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This has included non-lethal aid to over 5,300 servicemen (such as ballistic goggles, walkie-talkies, tactical vests, helmets, and first aid kits). Many scouts have volunteered to serve in these units.

Who are Lisovi Chorty?
Lisovi Chorty (Forest Devils) are a fraternity within the Plast Ukrainian Scouting Organisation. On 22 July 1922, Lisovi Chorty were founded by a troop of scouts from Lviv, Ukraine. This year marks 100 years since our founding. There are 50 members in Australia who are actively supporting our Lisovi Chorty in Ukraine. Whilst the majority in Ukraine are coordinating the supply of humanitarian aid and nonlethal equipment, a number have joined the ranks of the Territorial Defence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
