This is an Australian Native Garden, which was first planted in a cow paddock in 2011 after the completion of the house build. The garden backs onto a reserve of Mahogany gums, Coastal Wattles, and Boobialla.
The garden owners’ overall concept was to plant native species — to have no lawns or hard paving but annual flowers to hide fences and minimal garden maintenance.
