WIMDOI 2022

WIMDOI is a network of union women in male dominated occupations and industries. The Bi-annual conference is on 13-15th September in Canberra

Going for over 20 years now this group has helped inspire hundreds of women and given them tools to last through their working careers.

Some have gone onto become leaders of our unions but all have been successful in their own right by working and thriving everyday as a minority in some of the toughest workplaces around.

Delegations are encouraged to share rooms due to the shortage of accommodation in Canberra during sitting weeks. Please advise them who you will share with. 

Travel to Canberra, we suggest book flights early as this is a sitting week of parliament. There are also buses and trains from Sydney and Melbourne, or some may wish to make it a road trip. There is free parking at the Tradies.
