Family violence services in Tasmania are concerned that incident-based policing, a criminal lens, and a misunderstanding of the ways in which victim-survivors use violence against their partners all impact on the failing of first responders to accurately identify the person most in need of protection. In this panel, we talk to family violence specialists about their experiences with misidentification, and brainstorm solutions to solve this growing social problem.Location
