The impact of social emotional factors on gifted children and their provision is an often overlooked area of giftedness, despite the fact that these can have a significant impact on both the wellbeing and achievement of gifted children. This session will identify some of these key social emotional factors and their impact, and also explore some of the strategies that parents and teachers can use to help gifted children overcome these difficulties.
