What is RJA

RJA - Russian speaking Jewish Community Association is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers.

RJA’s main goal is to promote Jewish cultural heritage in the Russian speaking community.

RJA members are eligible to valuable discounts to various RJA and Kangarusski events and activities i.e.: educational seminars, festival celebrations, movie screenings, holiday camps, charity cooking, health and wellbeing programs and much more.

Limmud FSU Festival presents a unique and highly effective platform to expose your business and display your product to 300 or more attendees, as well as gaining a community awareness among a wide and diverse audience of at least 5000 people attending multiple Russian-Jewish events throughout a year and following Limmud FSU and Kangarusski activities on social media.

Most of the Limmud participants are decision making audience aged 25-50 years old.

Presenters

Join us as a Presenter at Limmud FSU Australia 2022

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our elite line of presenters.

Presenters at the Limmud FSU conference are: academics, entrepreneurs, business owners, artists, journalists, students, writers, actors and anyone who is passionate about their interest and profession.

To register as a presenter please send us an email to sydney@limmudfsu.org.au and provide with the following details:

• Presenter’s Full Name

• Presenter’s short Bio

• Topic of the presentation and short description

• Presentation format

• Links or references to previous presentations if applicable

Your request will be carefully reviewed by the programming committee and you will receive the committee’s respond.

Please review the following information before proceeding:

– Your presentation has to be 45-50 min

–  If you have more than one idea please let us know about all of them and we will select one or all.

– The conference will feature both children’s program and adult program.

– You may present in one of the following formats: lecture, panel, workshop

– Volunteerism is one of the core principles of Limmud FSU – this means that presenters are not paid for volunteering their time to the conference.

– At Limmud FSU we are all equal: organisers, volunteers and presenters are all paying participation fees for being a part of the conference. If you wish to attend other seminars and sessions and connect with the community during the conference, you will still need to pay your Presenters participation fee.

– The presentations will be selected based on a variety of criteria to ensure we have diverse and engaging program for adults and kids.

– Please note that Limmud FSU does not allow promotion of business and self-advertisement as part of the presenter session

 

Volunteering

Limmud FSU is organised exclusively by volunteers and community members, who offer different areas of expertise.

Should you wish to help by becoming a volunteer, Limmud FSU team would be happy to welcome you to get involved in a wide variety of activities in the lead-up to the event, as well as over the duration of the festival. Tasks that volunteers may be responsible for include: registration, setting and packing up, kids program, assisting presenters, helping guests and lots more.

As a volunteer, you will be asked to work for 2-3 hours during the festival, so you can still participate and enjoy the sessions and activities on offer.

You will be contacted by the Volunteers Coordinator from Limmud FSU Australia to discuss your role as a volunteer and provide further details.

Registered volunteers will be asked to purchase a full ticket but will receive a 25% refund after the Limmud FSU Festival concludes.

Your help and contribution during the event is extremely valuable and we are looking forward to welcoming you to the Limmud family.

 

Registration Entitlements

Limmud FSU registration includes entry to all sessions during the event, official opening ceremony, lunch, Gala dinner, evening entertainment program, welcome pack and special all day kids program.

 

Meals

All meals provided will be Kosher catered. 

 

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of registration in order to secure your place at the festival.

All prices are inclusive of GST and ticketing surcharge

 

Cancellation Policy

A refund will be provided if cancellations are made before 24 October 2022.

To request a refund, please email sydney@limmudfsu.org.au

All cancellations will incur a $15 administration fee.
