Thursday September 1st, at 7.30pmThe final of a series of 3 concerts at Deakin Edge hosted by Christian College Geelong, "Music on the Edge" will be the spectacular culmination of an all-day performance festival, featuring music groups from schools and the wider community which will bring together choirs, instrumentalists, orchestras and bands.
The spectacular evening concert will feature performances by the Senior Choir of CCG (Directed by Kate Notini), Melbourne University Choral Society and Box Hill Chorale (both directed by Andrew Wailes), as well as the Xavier College Big Band (directed by Zach Clarke), and the CCG Senior Stage Band (directed by Dave Gardiner).
Following two years of disruption to regular performance programming for all these ensembles, this concert will be a celebration of live music-making, and a chance for each of the ensembles to enjoy the collaborative process of performing alongside fellow musicians and sharing their music with a wider audience.
