Robert Louis Stevenson’s greatest adventure brought to life on the stage – TREASURE ISLAND.A classic adventure of murder, mutiny, and cutthroat ambition, presented by Simonds Catholic College. Three performances will feature a talented cast of Year 7 to 9 students from our St. Mary’s Campus.
It’s a dark, stormy night. The stars are out. Jim Hawkins, grandson of the innkeeper, opens the door to a terrifying stranger. Alongside this stranger is a mysterious sea-chest, containing a dark secret. Once he steps through the door, Jim’s dangerous voyage begins. Bloodthirsty pirates, bumbling landlubbers, and ingenious plots abound!
Recommended for ages 10+. Includes staged fight scenes, loud SFX and flashing lighting effects.
Hosted at the Lithuanian Club North Melbourne, take tram 57 from the city and alight at Errol Street, take a train from Flinders Street and alight at North Melbourne then walk to Errol street. Or drive with ample parking nearby.
