Rocky Flix is an independent film club run by volunteers to offer the Rockhampton regional community the opportunity to experience films, usually only screened in the capital cities and at film festivals, within a few months of their release. Films are usually scheduled on the 1st or 2nd Thursday of the month.

The big screen at the Walter Reid Cultural Centre Auditorium and the discussions after the films make for a great evening’s entertainment for lovers of fine film.

Rocky Flix started in 2003 to enable the local film lovers to access foreign and alternative films.
