The Australian Short Story Festival, now in its sixth year, celebrates the subtle and exciting art and craft of the short story form. The national festival will be held at the historic Fremantle Arts Centre from October 28 to 30, and will include workshops, panel discussions, live music, readings, book launches and children’s storytelling. It’s three days of thought-provoking and lively entertainment featuring some of our finest national and international story tellers. Writers include Ellen van Neerven, Elizabeth Tan, Susan Midalia, John Kinsella, Carol Lefevre, Laurie Steed, Amanda Curtin, Andrew Roff, Sheila Armstrong, Allen C. Jones and many more.
