Community members are invited to help Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) celebrate its 150th anniversary.
2022 marks 150 years since a hospital opened on the Green Street site NHW currently occupies.
To celebrate the occasion, NHW will hold a community event at the Wangaratta Performing Arts and Convention Centre (WPACC) on Wednesday 17th March 2023 from 10am – 2pm.
The theme of the event is “Building on healthy foundations”, offering an opportunity for community members to get a glimpse into the past, present and future of the health service.
As well as several interactive displays, there will also be a “gratitude wall” for staff and community members to post messages of thanks, and the much loved Friends of the Hospital will be selling their much loved Christmas puddings and other delights.
The event will offer a chance to talk to staff from areas of the hospital including support services, nursing and Allied Health, while NHW’s recruitment team will also be on hand to talk about how to join our “talent community” in order to be considered for future roles.
The event is free to attend.
