On Demand - Client briefs & scopes of services

On Demand - Client briefs & scopes of services

hero

Prioritising a well-written client’s brief and architect’s scope of services is critical. Wendy Poulton presents an informative CPD webinar, focusing on the importance of a clear brief and scope when engaging in architectural consultancy and common pitfalls to avoid. Originally held 28 September 2022.

When the loading bay doors are too narrow to fit the client’s truck fleet… when the building works are riddled with defects and the client claims that contract administration was your responsibility… the client’s brief and the architect’s scope of services will be critical. If these two key documents are missing, or poorly written, project outcomes are jeopardised and, when problems arise, consultants will find it harder to defend themselves.

In this CPD webinar, Wendy Poulton, Principal, informed Lawyers Pty Ltd ACN 635 862 145, looks at cases studies that illustrate the importance of brief and scope, what makes for a good brief and scope of services document, and how to define in a consultancy your responsibilities with respect to these two crucial documents.
