Weavers’ Summer School
About
This is an opportunity for weavers to use the CSW looms for a personal project. This can be a finished piece or to engage in weave experimentation. Previous projects have included complex weave scarves, large throws, table runner sets, decorative wall pieces, lengths for clothing or upholstery, bed covers, window treatments and floor rugs.Tutor will provide assistance with calculations and set up of projects. Assistance and instruction with the use of the computer design program and loom.
Participants are required to contact the tutor first to organize materials before the summer school starts. Prerequisite for summer school is completion of basic introduction to 4 shaft weave structures.
Sunday 22 January to Sunday 29 2023 (rest day Thursday 26)
TIMES: 9.30 – 4.00 (1 hour lunch break)
