CMS concert on 9 May 2023 Jumppanen and Strings
CMS is thrilled to be able to present once again the newly-appointed Artistic Director of the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM), internationally-acclaimed Finnish virtuoso Paavali Jumppanen. As solo recitalist, chamber musician, orchestral collaborator, recording artist, festival director, and advocate for contemporary and avant-garde music, Paavali has performed to critical acclaim throughout the world. Paavali is joined by string musicians from ANAM in presenting one of the iconic masterworks of Romantic chamber music – Schumann’s epic Piano Quintet in E flat major, Op 44.
