Michael Kelly was a gay man, activist and a Catholic who advocated for a radical re-imagining of Catholicism (and other forms of religion) to be explicitly inclusive of all genders and sexualities. A collection of essays celebrating the legacy of Michael Bernard Kelly, titled Into Your Hands (edited by Andrew Brown, published by Clouds of Magellan), has been recently released, reflecting on these intersections between religion, spirituality and sexuality. This event will have a speaker from the book sharing some reflections, followed by structured & unstructured time for people to have conversations about what religion, spirituality, and sexuality mean to them. We encourage people to attend what will be a night of great discussion and thought.Location
