Calling all Kimberley Creatives!The Awards are open to bona-fide Kimberley Residents and will be exhibited at the Broome Civic Centre
There is no set theme for the Art Awards, however, inspiration can be drawn from Shinju Matsuri as well as from, a celebration of the people, culture and history of Broome. This is a community festival and art must be suitable for viewing by the general public. Works deemed to cause offence, may be subject to review by Shinju Matsuri Inc.

10 May - Entries open
27 August - Entries close
3 September - Drop off works between 9am - 2pm
4 September - Art Awards Presentation
5 - 10 September - Art Awards Exhibition Open
10 September - People’s Choice Award Announcement at Festival Finale
11 September - Collect works between 9am - 12pm
