This session will explore a Rights Based framework for Children's Participation in Early Childhood Education Settings. Utilising Lundy's 4 part model, participants will explore why 'voice' is not enough when looking to ensure true participatory practice.
Attendees will be given the opportunity to reflect on their own work with children, to undertake an audit of the practice in their own workplace and consider areas for improvement that could be undertaken.
Attendees will hear ideas and learn strategies to create safe and empowering spaces for children in the early years to meaningfully participate.
