Violinist Susan Pierotti and cellist Rosanne Hunt join forces with pianist Brian Chapman to present an all-Beethoven feast of chamber music. Commencing with the evergreen "Spring Sonata" in F major, Op.24 for violin and piano the first half concludes with the composer's most expansive and melodious Cello Sonata in A major, Op.69. After Interval a performance of the popular salon piece - the Andante favori in F major for piano solo - will precede the famous "Ghost" Trio in D major, Op.70 No.1 with its tersely impassioned first movement, followed by an eerie, spine-chilling Largo, and capped off with the exuberant effervescence of its Presto finale.Location
