Comparative Judgement is an assessment technique which involves comparing two pieces of writing side-by-side to establish a measurement scale. It is used by primary & secondary schools, and in any subject that requires assessment of extended writing. Over 2,000 schools in Australia, England & the US are currently using it to assess their students’ writing with reliability & efficiency.
Daisy Christodoulou, Director of Education at No More Marking, the UK provider of online Comparative Judgement, works closely with schools on developing new approaches to assessment.
In this event Daisy will share an opportunity to trial the process. She will also provide some insights into writing that have been gleaned through these large scale data sets, both globally & in the Australian projects.
