Join the LGIS injury management team for a comprehensive, one-day workshop on the employers’ role in getting injured workers back to work following a workers’ compensation claim.

LGIS receives over 700 workers’ compensation claims every year for our local government members. On average it takes 45-60 days for an injured worker to return following an injury. We know that the longer a worker is away from work, the more likely their claim will develop complications or they may leave entirely.

Local government employers play a vital role in the return to work and injury management process. An engaged employer supports a worker’s return, affirming the individual’s value and the contribution they make.

Who is the workshop for?

Anyone who would like to improve their knowledge of the workers’ compensation and return to work process. Perfect for individuals in the roles of injury management; human resources; work, health and safety officers; and decision makers.
