After a successful program being run in 2022 and the success of the 24 women that took part in KISS (Keelboat Introduction for Sailing Savvy) is updated and running in 2023 with the Queenscliff Cruising Yacht Club in partnership with Ocean Racing Victoria. This program will begin with a launch at the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria in Williamstown on Tuesday 16 May 2023. This program will again aim to be a supportive learning environment for female sailors to inspire them to move from passenger to participants seamlessly. The program includes a series of 6 knowledge sessions - 5 x webinars and an in person workshop .The 6 Sessions are:
1. Boat & Personal Preparation - Tuesday 30 May - Zoom
2. Navigation - Tuesday 20 June - Zoom
3. Weather and Tides in Port Phillip - 4 July ZOOM
3. Radio & Safety Workshop - Sunday 6 August (on location ORCV)
4. Passage Planning - 15 August Zoom
6. KISS Passage Rally briefing - 24 August ZOOM
