2 HOUR PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARI FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR GUARDIANS

Join our current artist-in-resident Bernadette Bayley Smith for a two hour walking tour. You will learn tips on how to compose and expose good photos under natural lighting. We will cover the basics of camera controls such as ISO sensitivity, aperture, shutter speed, selective focus and composition. While taking photos around Carss Point Baths and Carss Park Channel and Foreshore habitats including its intertidal rock platform, we will look for unusual viewpoints and study the effect of sunlight and shadow.What to bring: camera, hat, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, water bottle.

Time: 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Price: $8.00 per child (guardians are free of charge)
Venue: Carss Park (meet outside Carss Park Lifesaving Hall).
Age: Adults and their children 10-16 years
Class size is strictly limited to maximum of 12. If heavy rain is forecast, we will contact participants and reschedule to the following weekend.
