The popular book Breath by James Nestor has made a lot of people aware of the problems created by poor breathing and has boosted understanding of the role that conscious breath control plays in many domains of health.Bookoccino is hosting Dr. Rosalba Courtney, local and international breath expert, on May 21 at 6pm, for an introduction to the ins and outs of breath, its meaning, beauty and importance in our lives.
In this 2 hour session she will share fascinating insights into the relationship of breathing to mental and physical health as well as some guided breathing based practices that anyone can use to breathe, perform and feel better.
For those wishing to go deeper, Rosalba will be leading a 6 week course meeting Sunday evenings at Bookoccino, beginning June 4.
